AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
� OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, AMENDING ORDINANCE
NO. 90-57 , AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE N0. 90-66 ,
RELATING TO THE FISCAL YEAR 1990-91 BUDGET BY
AMENDING SECTION 1; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, Capital Projects Construction Fund has a balance of
$301, 337 remaining from the General Obligation Bonds sold in 1985
for the building of the Convention Center; and
WHEREAS, $120, 000 is needed for capital expenditures to
complete the needs of the Convention Center; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to appropriate $120, 000 to the
Capital Projects Construction Fund for this project in the Fiscal
Year 1990-91 Budget "FY 91 Budget" ; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to reserve the balance of
Convention Center Funds after the completion of this project for
the purpose of paying debt service on the General Obligation
Bonds sold for the Convention Center.

� NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1 . That all of the above premises are found to be
true and correct and are hereby incorporated into the body of
this ordinance as if copied in their entirety herein.
Section 2 . That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 90-57 , as
amended by Ordinance No. 90-66 is hereby amended to read as
follows:
"Section 1 . That the appropriation amounts for
the FY 91 budget for different funds of the City of
Grapevine are hereby fixed as follows:
General Fund $14 ,751 ,079
Utility (Water &
Wastewater Fund $ 8 , 798 , 078
Debt Service Fund $ 3 ,422 ,830
Golf Course Fund $ 1 , 026 , 009
CVB Fund $ 2 ,141 ,211
� Insurance Fund $ 775, 580
Fireman' s Relief &
Retirement Fund $ 4 ,000

Construction Fund $ 7 , 339, 000"
� Section 3 . That the City Manager be and is hereby
authorized to make the appropriate change to the budget to
reflect the change noted above.
� Section 4 . A true copy of this ordinance amending the
Fiscal Year 1990-91 budget shall be filed with the City Secretary
and attached to the budget originally adopted and the City
Manager is hereby directed to file or cause to be filed a true
copy of the amendment in the office of the County Clerks of
Tarrant, Dallas and Denton counties.
Section 5 . The fact that the present ordinances and
regulations of the City of Grapevine, Texas, are inadequate to
properly safeguard the health, safety, morals, peace, and general
welfare of the public creates an emergency which requires that
this ordinance become effective from and after the date of its
passage, and it is accordingly so ordained.
