AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTION 15-18
OF THE CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF GRAPE-
VINE, TEXAS , RELATIVE TO DANCING IN
FOOD ESTABLISHMENTS; PROVIDING A
SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND DECLARING
AN EMERGENCY
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS :
Section 1 . That Section 15-18 of the City Code of the
City of Grapevine , Texas , relative to dancing in food estab-
lishments, is hereby repealed.
Section 2 . If any section, paragraph, subdivision,
clause, phrase or provisions of this ordinance shall be
judged invalid or unconstitutional , the same shall not
affect the validity of this ordinance as a whole or any por-
tion thereof other than that portion so decided to be invalid
or unconstitutional.
Section 3. The fact that the present ordinance and regu-
lations of the City of Grapevine are inadequate to properly
reflect community standards creates an emergency for the
immediate preservation of public health, safety, and general
welfare of the public which requires that this ordinance shall
become effective immediately upon adoption, as provided by
law, and it is accordingly so ordained.
