AN ORDINANCE BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE , TEXAS , CANVASSING RE-
TURNS AND DECLARING THE RESULTS OF A BOND
ELECTION HELD IN SAID CITY ON THE 19TH DAY
OF JANUARY, 1980; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
THE STATE OF TEXAS �

WHEREAS , the governing body, by ordinance duly passed and
adopted, made provision for an election to be held within this
� City on the 19th day of January, 1980 , for the purpose of sub-
mitting certain propositions for the issuance of revenue and
general obligation bonds to the resident , qualified electors of
the City; and
WHEREAS , the returns of the said election have been made to
this governing body and from an examination of those returns , it
appears that the same was held in accordance with the authorized
proceedings and was in all respects legally held after due notice
had been given, and the said returns duly and legally made , and
other instruments , showed the following results :

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE ,
TEXAS :
Section 1. That all of the recitals contained in the preamble
of this Ordinance are found to be true and are adopted as findings
of fact by this governing body and as part of its judgment.
Section 2 . It is further found and determined that the results
of the election as canvassed and tabulated in the preamble hereof
reflect the expressed desires of the resident , qualified electors .
Section 3. That in conformity with law, this governing body
is authorized to issue bonds on behalf of said City in the amounts
and for the purposes mentioned in the propositions set forth in the
proceedings calling the election with respect to propositions numbered
one, two , three, four, five, six, and seven.
Section 4. That the Ordinance is hereby declared to be an
�� emergency measure, and the same having been passed by unanimous
� vote of the City Council, this Ordinance shall be effective
i immediately.

PASSED, APPROVED AND EFFECTIVE this 21st day of January, 1980.
