�' A RESOLUTIOV AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF EULESS
TO PURCHASE TECHNICAL EQUIPMENT IN BEHALF OF
THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE
WHEREAS, the equipment presently available is not sufficient to
perform basic identification and record storage tasks; and
WHEREAS, the City of Gr apevine, Texas does not have
sufficient financial resources to provide its law enforcement agency
with this basic equipment; and �
WHEREAS, the utilization of this equipment will allow the City
of Grapevine, Texas t aw enf�rcement agency to i ncrease i ts
capability in the identification and record storage system and
subsequently have a better system; and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this City Council that the best
i nteres t of the c i t i zens of the C i ty of Grapevine, Texas w i 11 be
served by participating in this cooperative purchasing program;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE ClTY
OF GRAPEVINE , TEXAS:

2. The City of Euless is authorized to enter into binding contracts
with low compliant vendor (s) and to purchase technical equip-
ment i n behal f of the C i ty of Grapevine, Texas
3. This City understands that the Texas Criminal Justice Division
is providing 100 percent f�nding for the purchase of the
equipment.
4. To display the City�s desire to participate in this program, a
copy of this resolution will be forwarded to the City of Euless.
