RESOLUTION � 75-26 <br /> WHEREAS, the Mayor, City Council and City Manager on occasion receive <br /> complaints and inquiries from citizens relating to the operation of the various city <br /> departments and the personnel of said departments; and <br /> ' WHEREAS, the City Council believes it would be in the best interest of the <br /> City, and the city employees to create and establish a Public Relations Committee <br /> that could be utilized to investigate said complaints and inquiries and report the <br /> findings to the City Council . <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CIN COUNCIL FOR THE <br /> CIN OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, as follows: <br /> Section 1 . There is hereby established a Public Relations Committee that will <br /> function upon specific requests made by the City Council in the following manner: <br /> A. Investigate complaints registered relative to city <br /> departments, personnel and pol icies. <br /> B. The investigation may be conducted through the <br /> use of subcommittees appointed by the chairman and - <br /> through the utilization of any and all departments of <br /> the City. <br /> C. To submit the findings of the committee to the City <br /> Council in the manner and in direct response to the <br /> � Council's requests. <br /> � <br /> , <br /> � Section 2. The makeup of the committee shall be as follows: <br /> �.� <br /> A, One (1) member from the City Council to be <br /> appointed by the Mayor to be the chairman of the <br /> committee. <br /> B. Four (4)members who are citizens of the City of � <br /> Grapevine, said members to be appointed by the City <br /> Council of the City of Grapevine. <br /> C. All members shall serve a term of one (1) year from <br /> appointment.
