WHEREAS, the City of Grapevine, Texas, has requested the Texas State
Department of Highways and Public Transportation to assist in reconstruction of Park
Boulevard from State Highway 114 to Dove Street; and
WHEREAS, the said Texas State Department of Highways and Public Trans-
portation has agreed to participate and assist the City in said work provided the City
agree to certain specified conditions all as set out in the Texas $tate Department of
Highways and Public Transportation Minute Order �70250 dated August 1, 1975;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council and City Administration have carefully reviewed said
Minute Order and are agreeable to the proposal;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS.
Section 1 . That the City of Grapevine does hereby accept and agree to the
Texas State Department of Highways and Public Transportation proposal to assist in the
__ reconstruction of Park Boulevard all contained in Minute Order �70250 dated August 1,
�4� 1975, which is attached heretoand incorporated herein.

Section 2. The City Council acknowledges all of the City's requirements in said
Minute Order and agrees to discharge its duties pursuant thereto.
Section 3. That the City Secretary is hereby directed to send a certified copy of
this Resolution to the said Texas State Department of Highways and Public Transportation.
Section 4. That this Resolution shall take effect from and after its passage.

Provided the City will:

dures to be in accordance with appZicable I'ederal and State laws governing the -
acqt�isi.tion policies for acquiring real property.

�nd �utter, storc� sewers, drive���ays and sidewalks, all as may be required and

Subjcct to tUe availability of Federal-nid UrUan Syatem funds and the eligibility of
the proposed work for financing with said funds, the State Department of Highways and
Public Transportation will:
1. Prepare construction plans and specificationa.
2.� Provide for reconstruction of Grading, Structures and Surfacing at an estimate�
cost of $100,C00 as authorized in the 1975-1976 Urban Syatem Pro�ram.
Upor. accept�nce of the provisions of this Order by the appropriate official8 of the Citq
of Grape�ine, tne En�ineer-Directo� is directed to enter into any necessary agreements
with the Ciry cov�rin� Che details of tha pro�osed improvenents, to proceed with the
enoineerin, development of the pro�ect and afeer the City hae fulfilled ite responsi-
bzlities, to proceed with construction as avthorized herein in the moat feasible and
economical r�anner.
It is understocd that the City may discharge its construction obligations as autlined
herein in any :^anner as it may elecG. In the event Che City desires the State to include
its portion of the work in the State's construction contract, the �ngineer-Director is
hereny aL;:horized to enter into agreement with the City for such work and its cost as -
