R73-5 WHEREAS, there came to be considered, the attached documents listing various general prevailing rates of per them wages in the City of Grapevine, Texas; and, WHEREAS, the City of Grapevine, Texas, wishes to comply with Article 5159a of the Revised. Civil Statutes of the State of Texas as well as with all other laws of the State of Texas; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the attached Exhibit "A" is hereby declared. to be the general prevailing rates of per diem wages for work performed in the City of Grapevine, Texas. SECTION 2. That hereafter not less than those wage rates shown on the attached. Exhibit "A" shall be paid, to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics employed by or on behalf of the City of Grapevine, Texas, and. engaged in the construction of public works, exclusive of maintenance work. Laborers, workmen, and mechanics employed. by contractors or sub- contractors in the execution of any contract or contracts for public works with the City of Grapevine, Texas, shall be deemed to be employed upon public works. PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, this the 20th day of February , A. D. 1973.
