Texas, is called annually on the first Saturday in April-,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council of the City of
Grapevine, Texas, to fix a date when all officers elected at any Regular
City Election are to be administered the oath of office;
SECTION 1. That hereafter all officers of the City of Grapevine,
Texas, who are duly elected in any Regular City Election shall be
administered the oath of office as prescribed in the Charter of the City
of Grapevine, Texas, at the first regularly scheduled meeting of the
City Council of the City of Grapevine, Texas, after all votes are
canvassed and the results officially declared.
SECTION 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and
after its date of passage, and it is accordingly so ordered.
