RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE COMPREHENSIVE
MASTER PLAN FOR THE YEARS 1978-1993
AS A COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FOR THE DEVELOPMENT
OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE� TEXAS
,� WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Grapevine,
� Texas , recognizes the potential growth of the City due to the
construction of the Regional Airport, and because of the general
•
growth of the Fort Worth-Dallas Metropolitan Area; and
VJHEREAS, the City Council has requested the City Planning
Consultants, FREESE, NICHOLS AND ENDRESS, to make a comprehensive
study of the future land use, thoroughfare requirements ,
community facilities, capital improvements , administrative
controls, and other basis studies affecting the future growth
and development of the City; and
WHEREAS, the said Consultants have filed their report with
the City Council of the City of Grapevine; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Grapevine believes
that said report is an excellent documentation of �he future needs
and requirements of the City of Grapevine; with the exception
that the City Council recognizes that the location of proposed
State Highway 360 k�as not been definitely determined an d is in-
cluded in this study only for illustrative purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Grapevine, Texas, at a regular meeting, that the City of
Grapevine, Texas, adopt the Comprehensive Master Pl�.n for the
years 1968-1993, as presented, as a Comprehensive Master Plan for
- the Future Development of the City of Grapevine, Texas.
PASSED BY UNANIMOUS VOTE OF ALL MEMBERS PRESENT, NONE BEING
ABSEI�IT, on this 6th day of October, 1970.
