A RESOLUTION CLOSING STREETS AND ROADS IN
THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, TO FACILITATE
THE BUILDING OF A REGIONAL AIRPORT.
Whereas, the City Council of the City of Grapevine, Texas
l�as found and determined tY�at it will be for the benefit of
� said city to close the streets and roads set out in Exhibit
�
�"'" # 1 attached hereto being known as Trigg Road No. 3029, and
also that portion of Lipscomb-Koonce Road # 3056 as set out
in Exhibit # l, and both of which exhibits are made a part
hereof, to enable the Regional Airport to be built.
Now therefore, be it resolved by the City Council of the
City of Grapevine, Texas:
That the designated streets and roads aforesaid shall be
and are now closed to the public to enable the development
of the Regional Airport.

1970, at the City Hall in Grapevine, Texas by unaminous vote

above number application, showing the surrounding area to the nearest roads
in all directions. �

(b)
The Dallas-Fort Worth Regional Airport Board has purchased all property
abutting the portion of the road described to be vacated.

EXHIBIT NO. 3 .
The undersigned public utility companies,-using or entitled to use, under
the terms and provisions of our respective franchises with the City of Grapevine,
� that portion of the street sought to be vacated in the Application to Vacate
road above referred to, do hereby consent to the vacation and abandonment
of the described portion of such road. .

The undersigned, City Engineer for the City of Grapevine, certify that I
have carefully considered the application to vacate road above refened to
from the standpoint of present and future needs of the City of Grapevine with
respect to traffic and city utilities, and I see no objection to the requested '
vacation from the City's standpoint.
