RESOLUTION NO. 68-8
RESOLUTION DECLARING THE RESULTS OF CITY OFFICER'S ELECTION
WHEREAS, there came to be considered the returns of an
election held on the lst day April, 1969, for the purpose
r�" of electing the hereinafter named officials, and it appear-
ing from said returns, duly and legally made that there
�,__:� were cast at said election 666 valid and legal votes;
that each of the candidates in said election received the
following votes:
MAYOR
Dr. Ira E. Woods-------430

COUNCILMAN PLACE # 1
Carl Miller------------ 75
Doil Dalton------------423

COUNCILMAN PLACE # 2

NOW THEREFORE� BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE� TEXAS:
That, said election was duly called; that notice of said
election was given in accordance with law, and that said
election was held in accordance with law, and that the
following named persons were duly elected to the offices
indicated:
Dr. Ira E. Woods Mayor
Doil Dalton Councilman Place # 1
Ralph T. Eidson Councilman Place # 2
That the said above parties are hereby declared duly elected
to said respective officies, subject to the taking of their
oaths and filing bond as provided by the laws of this State
and the ordinances of this City.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the lst day of April , 1969.
