WHEREAS, the City Council is desireous of making the City
of Grapevine a safer place in which to live and travel , and
WHEREAS, there is an ever increasing need for certain traffic
control devices at certain intersections within the corporate
limits , and,
_ � WHEREAS, much study and thou ght has been given to these

� problems by the City Council.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 1. Title 9, Chapter 4, Section 4 be amended to in-
clude Subsection C as follows:
C. The East one-half of Jenkins Street
from Franklin Street to Wall Street
is designated as a fire lane and
there will be no parking on said
East side of Jenkins Street.
Section 2. The authority for the erection of the foregoing
sign and the enforcement of the regulations therein represented
has been vested in the City Council by the City of Grapevine
Ordinance No. 54-8 passed and approved the 2nd day of March,
1954.
� Section 3 . This resolution, not being a penal ordinance in
. itself need not be published to be effective and is effective
�.:. upon the passage by the City Council and the erection of the
aforementioned signs.
