RFSOLUTION DECLARING THE RESULTS OF CITY OFFICER'S ELECTION
WHEREAS, there came on to be considered the returns of an election held
on the 2nd day April, 1968, for the purpose of electing the hereinafter
named officials, and it appearing from said returns, duly and legally
made that there were cast at said election 70 valid and legal votes;
that each of the candidates in said election received the following
votes:

ALDERMAN PLACE # 4

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
That, said election was duly called; that notice of said election
• was given in accordance with law, and that said election was held in
accordance with law, and that the following named persons were duly
elected to the offices indicated :
Lee Thompson Alderman Place # 3
Guy S. Benedict Alderman Place #4
Willis Pirkle Alderman Place # 5
That the said above paxties are hereby declared duly elected to said
respective officies, subject to the taking of their oaths and filing
bond as provided by the laws of this State and the ordinances of this
City.
