WHEREAS , the City Council of the City of Grapevine, Texas
is desirous of making the City of Grapevine a safer place
in which to live and travel , and,
WHEREAS, there is an ever increasing need for certain traffic
and parking control on certain streets within the corporate
� limits , and,
�,, WHEREAS, much study and thought has been given to these
problems by the City Council.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 1. Section 4 of Title 9, Chapter 2 of the City Code
of the City of Grapevine, Texas is hereby deleted.
Section 2. Title 9, Chanter 4, Section 4 is hereby amended
to include subsection G as follows :
G. Parking will be prohibited during school hours on
the following streets :
1. On the East Side of Ruth Street between Cannon
Street and Worth Street .
2. On the South side of Cannon Street between
Austin Street and Ruth Street.
3. On the West Side of Austin Street between
Cannon Street and East Worth Street .
�- Section 3 . The authority for the erection of the foregoing
signs and the enforcement of the regulations therein re-
presented has been vested in the City Council by the City
of Grapevine Ordinance No. 54-8 passed and approved the 2nd
day of March, 1954.
Section 4. This resolution, not being a penal ordinance in
itself need not be published to be effective and is effective
upon the passage by the City Council and the erection of 'the
aforementioned signs.
PASSED AND APPROVED, THIS 3RD DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 1968.
