�, RESOZUTI4N AUTHORIZING TFiE INCLUSION OF GRAPEVII�E,
TEXAS , IN THE MET&0 AND MI�STRIP PLAN OF THE GENERAL
TELEPHONE COMPANY OF THE SOUTHW"EST.
WHEREAS : The purpose of this resolution is to insu re
that the City of Grapevine , Texas, will be included in the
Metro and Midstrip plan by the General Telephone Company
of the Southwest.
NOW THEREF�RE, BE IT RESOZVED BY 'THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXA5 :
We approve in principle, the proposal of `General
Telephoue Company of the Southwest, for inclusion of
Grapevine, Texas, in the Metro and Midstrip plan for
the Dallas, Fort Worth area, with the reservation that
the pla.n should inelude Roanoke, and should be completed
in 1970.
We wish it to be understood that our approval extends
only to the expiration date of the present franchise under
„��,, which General Telephone Company operates in the City of
; Grs�pevine, Tezas.

�'" Approval beyond that time together with the renew�l
of the franchise will be cantingent upon satisfactory pro-
gress being made in the interim period toward implementa-
tion oP the proposed inclusion of Grapevine in the Metro
and Midstrip plan.
