AN ORDINANCE ;
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, AND �
TRINITY RIVER AUTHORITY OF TEXAS, AND j
' � DECLARING AN EMERGENCY � � �
� THE STATE OF TEXAS .
' COUNTY OF TARRANT .
CITY OF GRAPEVINE .
� � WHEREAS, it is necessary and advisable that the
City of Grapevine, Texas enter into the Contract herein-
after authorized; •
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
! GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section lo That' the Mayor and the City Secretary
of said City are authorized and instructed, for and on behalf
of the City of Grapevine, Texas, to date, sign, seal and
otherwise execute a Contract in substantially the form and
substance attached hereto and made a part hereofo
Section 2o That upon execution said Contract
shall be binding upon the City of Grapevine for all purposeso
Section 3o That it is hereby officially found and i
determined that a case of emergency or urgent public neces-
;,:: a � sity exists which requires the holding of the meeting at
i which this Ordinance is passed, such emergency or urgent
� ! public necessity being that the execution of this Contract
�� is required as soon as possible and without delay for the
�`"'` � immediate preservation of the public peace, health, or public
� welfare; that said meeting was open to the public and public
� notice of the time, place and purpose of said meeting was
given, all as required by Vernon' s Anno Civl St. , Article
6252-17; and that this Ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon �assageo .
