WHEREAS the City of Grapevine , Tarrant County, Texas,
recognizes the need to insure its proper and orderly growth and to
prevent further developement of undesirable physical conditions,
and
WHERLA S city planning is recognized to be of primary
importance for the further growth and development of the City of
Grapevine , and
WHEREAS the Texas State Department of Health can
arrange for the needed planning and can arrange for the financial
assistance from Federal sources,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of Grapevine, Texas, requests the Texas State Department of Health
to arrange for the following planning services:
Preparation of a Comprehensive City Plan and to arrange for finan-
cial assistance in the sum of $6, 180.00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Grapevine
will make available upon the request of the Texas State Department
of Health the sum of $3,462.00 to aid in defraying cost of the re-
quested stated planning service.
