RESOLUTION DECLARING THE RESULTS OF CITY OFFICER ' S ELECTION
WHEREAS, there came on to be considered the returns of an election
held on the 7th day April , 1964, for the purpose of electing the
hereinafter named officials, and it appearing from said returns,
duly and legally made that there were cast at said election 49 valid
and legal votes; that e ach of the candidates in said election rec-
eived the following votes:
ALDERMAN PLACE # 3
L. W. Parker 47
ALDERMAN PLACE # 4
Guy S. Benedict 47
ALDERMAN PLACE # 5
Willis Pirkie 46
Write In Votes are as follows :
J. D. Brewer 1
C. R. Ezell 2
Bill Yancey 2
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
THAT, said election was duly called ; that notice of said election
was given in accordance with law, and that said election was held
in accordance with law, and that the following named persons were
duly elected to the offices indicated :
L. W. Parker Alderman Place #3
Guy S. Benedict Alderman Place #4
Willis Pirkie Alderman Place #5
That the said above parties are hereby declared duly elec ted to
said respective officies , subject to the taking of their oaths and
filing bordas provided by the laws of this State and the ordinances
of this City.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 21th day of April , 1964.
