It having been called to the attention of the Grapevine City
Council that some citizens of Gr4evine desire to create an
organization for the practice of rifle and pistol shooting and
that by using the name of Grapevine Police Au$iliary they can
qualify for financial aid from the Office of the Director of
Civilian Markmanship if affiliated with the National Rifle
Association.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, THAT:
Such an organization be authorized for such purpose, but it be
fere resolved that such an organization be not considered as any
part of the Grapevine Police Department and that it have no
official duties except as above, set out for qualifing for
Federal Aid.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 5th day of May 1964.
