A RESOLUTION CLEATING THE OFFICE OF DIRECTOR OF
PUBLIC WORKS; PRESCRIBING THE DUTIES THEREOF;
PRESCRIBING THE TERM OF OFFICE AND FLING THE
COMPENSATION OF SUCH OFFICE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The office of Director of Public Works is hereby
created and shall be filled by appointment of the Mayor,
confirmed by the City Council for an indefinite term.
SECTION 2. The Director of Public Works shall perform such
duties as may be imposed upon him by the City Council with
the primary duty of heading operations of water, sewer,
sanitation, streets, parks and recreations of City of Grapevine.
SECTION 3. The Director of Public Works shall receive such
salary or compensation as determined by the City Council.
SECTION 4. The effective date of this Resolution shall be
the 1st day of May 1963.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 30th day of April , 1963.
