A RESOLUTION DETAILING FACTS ABOUT A PROPOSED OFFICE AND COURT
ROOM FOR THE JUSTICE OF THE PEACE IN GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, AND RE-
QUESTING THE COMMISSIONER'S COURT OF TARRANT COUNTY TO TAKE
APPROPRIATE ACTION.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Grapevine, Texas,
has found and determined that it would be for the benefit of
said City and the surrounding territory in the Northeast section
of Tarrant County, Texas, to have a larger and more efficient
building to house the Justice of the Peace Court, and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has made a study of the available
buildings and sites within the City of Grapevine, Texas ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council believes that a building suitable
for the needs of the Justice of the Peace and the constituents
of such office can be rented for approximately $50. 00 per month;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Grapevine, Texas,
believes that the Commissioner's Court of Tarrant County, Texas,
should be apprised of these facts;
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the
City of Grapevine, Texas:
1.
That the City Council has officially found and determined,
and now does find and determine, that the City of Grapevine,
Texas, and all of the Northeast section of Tarrant County, Texas,
will be benefited by the Justice of the Peace Court being housed
in a more adequate building, and that such a building is avail-
able at a reasonable rate.
2.
And further, the said City Council now orders and directs
that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Commissioner' s
Court of Tarrant County, Texas, with the recommendation that they
take what appropriate action they deem proper in considering the
the above matters ,.in connection with the proposed budget tor
the year 1964.

at the City Hall in Grapevine, Texas, by a unanimous vote ot
the City Council present.
