AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE
AND THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF' GRAPEVINE,
TEXAS, SO AS TO CH�IVGE THE ZONING DISTRICTS
OF CERTAIN PROPERTY OF BILL REED, TRUSTEE
FROM "R-1" , SINGLE FAMILY TO "R-3" MULTI-
FAMILY; AND PROVIDING FOR A SAVINGS CLAUSE.
WHEREAS, due and lawful notice of hearing to consider

� a zoning change on the below described property has been

heretofore given; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Grapevine,
Texas, has on the 5th day of Sept., 1972 determined that
a change of the zoning classification of the below described
property f rom "R-1" Single Family to "R-3" Multi-Family, is
necessary for the development of the City of Grapevine, Texas;
NOC�V, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:

That the below described property be and the same is Hereby
and Herenow Designated and Classified as a part of the "R-3"

Multi-Family Dwelling District of the City of Grapevine, Texas,
� and the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Grapevine, Texas, and
the Use Map attached to such ordinance is no�v so changed and
amended:
All that certain lot, tract or parcel of land lying and
being situated in Tarrant County, Texas, out of the W. P.
Herring Survey, A-663, more particularly described as follows:
A tract of land out of the W. P. Herring Survey A-663,
Tarrant County, Texas being part of Tract 3 conveyed to John
Simmons described in Volume 3258 Pg. 679 DRTCT, and described
as beginning at an iron pin on the South Right of [�Jay of County
Road No. 3080, said I .P. being 1336.03 N89-30E and 2618.8 ft.
NO-23W from the Southcvest corner of said Herring Survey. Thence:
��lest, along said road and fence line, 503.6 ft. I .P. for corner.
Thence: SO-22-59E 865.0 ft. I .P. for co rner. Thence: East
503.6 ft. I .P. for corner. Thence: NO-23W, along fence line,
865.0 ft. to Point of Beginning, containing 10.0 acres.

Should any part, section, paragraph, sentence, clause or
phrase contained in this ordinance be held to be unconstitu-
tional, such holding shall not affect the validity of the re-

maining portion of the ordinance, but in all respect shall re-
�` main in full force and effect.

VOTE OF ALL MEMBERS PRESENT ON September 5, 1972 .
PASSED AND APPROVED ON ITS SECOND READING BY AN AFFIRMATIVE
