WI3EREAS, the City of Grapevine,� Texas, acting by and under
Sectian 1.0� flf Article. 2 af its Home Rule Charter� and Article
970a of' V, A. T. S. Has de.termined that its boundarias should '
be enlarged and extended by the annexation of additional
territary described as fallow�, ta-wit;
Tracts. of 3and in Tarrant Coun�y, 2exas, described as followa:
Beginning at the intprsection o:f the East ROW line of County
Raad 3fl38 sotnetimes called Pool Road and a line SO feet
s�utin arzd pazal.'�.el t� Rear c"reek , said pc�int of zntersec�'i.on
being a point along the Grapevine existing City limits ;
ThetZCei 5autherly along the East ROW line of said County
Road 3038 to its intersectian with the north R4W line af
Caunty Road 3120, sometimes called Hall Johnsan Road;
Thence, Easterly along the north ROW line r�f said County
Road 312(J to its intersection with the West R4W line of
State Farm to Market Road 157;
Thence, Nartherly along the West ROW line af State Farm to
Market Road 157 to its intersection with a line 50 feet
south and parallel to Bear Creek; said point of inter�ection
being as the South I.ine of the existing City l.imits;
Thence, Northwesterly along said line 50 fee� south and
parallel to the meanderings of Bear Creek to the place of

WHEREAS, each of the above. tracts of land are wi thin the confin�s
of the extraterritorial �ur3.sdiction of said City of Grapevine,
TeX&e�:r and,
WHEREAS, after considering the annexation of the above described
territory, and City C�ounc�.l of said Ci.ty of Grapevine, Texa.�
has unanimously voted to annex said tract to said City of
Grapevine, Texas, and,
,�...- WI3EREAS, all legal requirements for the annexation of each said
tracts, including publication and public hearing, hav� been
hereto Fore duly, ti.mely, and proper].y performed and don�,� and,
�•JHEREAS, it is for the public welfare:, and for and to t he advan-
tage, general welfare, and benefit bf the �ity of Grapev3ne, Texa��
and af and for each said tract, that same: be now annexed to the
City of Grapevine,, Texa�:
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GRAPy'VINE, TEXAS:
That the tracts of land, as above described, be and the same ar�
hereby annexed to the City oP Grapevine, in Tarrant County,
Taxas, be and the same are hereby extended to include ths abone
described tract� of land �u. thin the City limits of the City of
Grapavine, Texa�,, a municipal corporat�.on, and said tracts of
land, and the future inhabitants thereof shall hereafter be.
entitled to rights and pr ivileges of other citi�ens of the
City of Grapevine, Texa� and, they shall be hereafter bound by
the acts and Ordinances of said City.
That if an� clause, phrase, sentence, paragraph, or section of
this ordinance shall be held void or unconstitutional for any
reason,, same sha.11 not effect the other parts of this ordinance.
