AN ORDINANCE RECEIVING AND ANNEXING TERRITORY
ADJACENT AND CONTIGUOUS TO THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE,
TEXAS: PROVIDINC� THAT THE AREA -D�SCRIBED BELOW,
SHALL BL'COME A PART OF THE SAID CITY AND THAT'
�, THE OtaNERS AND THE Il�iHABITANTS THERE4F SHALL BE
ENTITLED TO ALL THE PRNILEGES OF OTHER CITIZENS

WAEREAS, the Ci�p of Grapevine, Texes, acting b�r and under
Section 1.03; of Articl� 2 of it$ Home Rul:e Charter� and Article
970a oP V. A. T. S. Has determined that its boundaries should '
be enlarged and extended by the annexatfon of additional
territor� described as follow�, to-wit;,
Tracts; of land in Tarrant Gountp, Texas, described a-a f ollow�:
A tract of land in Tarrant County Texas, out of the C. B.
Knight Survey, Abstract No. 898, the W. D. Shepherd Survey,
Abstract No. 1394, the J. R. Stephens Survey, Abstract No.
� 1490, the W. D. �hepherd Survey, Abstract No. 1393, the G. G.
Starr Survey, Abstract No. 1466, and the J. S. Byrd Survey,
Abstract No. 207, more fully described as follows:

Beginning at the Northwest corner of said C. B. Knight
Survey and the Southwest corner of the H. Decker Survey,
Abstract No. 438; �
Thence East, along and with the North line of said Knight
Survey to its Northeast corner and the Southeast corner of
said Decker Survey;
Thence North to the Northwest corner of said W. B. Shepherd
Survey, Abstract No. 1394;
Thence East along the North line of said Shepherd Survey
and the North line of said Stephens Survey to the Northeast
corner of said Stephens Survey;
Thence South, along and with the East line of said Stephens
Survey and the East line of said W. D. Shepherd Survey, Abstract
No. 1393, and the East line said G. G. Starr Survey to a point
SO feet South of the center line of Big Bear Creek;
Thence in a Northwesterly direction 50 feet f'rom and
parallel to the center line of said Big Sear Creek and along
and with its meanderings to the West line of said Knight Survey;

hereby annexed to the City of Grapevine, in TQrrant Gounty,
Texas., be and the sa�e are hereby extended to include the above
described tract� of land �o. thin the City limits of the City of
Grapevine, Texa�, a municipal corporatio�, and said tracts of
land, and the future inhabitants thereof shall here�Pter be.
entitled to rights and p�ivileges oF other citi�ens of the
Citg of Grapevir�e, T�exas and, they shall be hereafter bound by
the acts and Ordinances of said Cit�.
That if any clauae, phrase, senter��e, paragraph, or ssction of
this ordinance shall be held voi� or g�consti.tutional for any
