AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 7ANING ORDINANCE
AND THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE,
TEXAS, SO AS TO CHANGE THE 7ANING DISTRICTS
OF CERTAIN PROPERTY OF ROBERT CREWS, MRS.
IDA S. WALL ESTATE, RUTH HATTER, MARY KATE
MAPLES, FREDERICK HARWELL AND RACHEL CREWS
FROM "A" RESIDENTIAL TO "J & K" INDUSTRIAL
DISTRICT AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, due and lawful notice of hearing to
consider a zoning change on the below described property
has been heretofore given; and,
WHEREAS, the Zoning Commission of the City of
Grapevine , Texas , has on the 15thday of April _ ,
19 69 , recommended a change of the zoning classification
of the below described property, �o that the entirety
thereof shall be hereafter a part of the "J & K"
Industrial Districts of the City of Grapevine, Texas;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
I .
That the below described property be and the �ame
is Hereby and Herenow Designated and Classified as a part
of the "J & K" Industrial District of the City of
Grapevine, Texas, and the Zoning Ordinance of the City of
Grapevine, Texas , and the Use District Map attached to
such Ordinance is now so changed and amended:
Al1 that certain lot, tract or parcel of land lying
and being situated in Tarrant County, Texas, out of the
W. E. Owen, Hope, J. C. Owen and Dunn Surveys, more
particularly described as follows:
Trac� I
A11 the land in the A. J. N. Dunn Survey, Abs�ract 434
tha� is South of the Cotton Be1t Railroad and owned by
Mrs. Xda 5. Wal1 Estate.
Tract II
Al1 the land in the C. C. Hope Survey belonging ta R. E.
Crews.
Tract II�
A11 the land in the J. C. Owen Survey, Abstract II94
belanging to R. E. Crews and Harald Sharp.
Tract IV
AI1 the land in Wm. E. Owen Survey, Abstract 1193 that
is south af the Cotton Belt Railroad and owned by R. E.
Crews.
Tract V
All the Iand in the Wm. E. Owen Survey owned by F. C.
Harwell, Rachel Crews, walter and Ruth Hatter, and Mary
Kate Maples.

It being for the public �elfare that this Ordinance

be passed and such zonin� change be made, there exists an
�•�� emergency and public necF�ssity that the rule rPquiring th�.s
Ordinance �to be read on two several occasions be and the satne
is hereby Waived and this Ordinance shall now be placed on
its second and final reading to its pas�age, and shall be in
full force and effect from and after its passage an�l a�Arova2.
