ORDINANCE NO.��
AN ORDINANCE RECENING AND ANNEXING TERRITORY
ADJACENT AND CONTIGUOUS TO THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE,
'�' ' TEXAS: PROVIDING THAT TfiE AREA DESCRIBED BELOW,
SHALL BLCOME A PART OF TIjE SAID CITY AND THAT'
THE OWNERS AND THE INHABITANTS THEREOF SHALL BE
'�° � ENTITLED TO ALL THE PRTVILEGES OF OTFiER CITIZENS
OF SAID CITY AND BOUND BY THE ACTS AND ORDINANCES

PROVIDING FOR AMENDING AN� CORRECTING THE OFFICIAL
BOUNDARIES OF SAID CITY IiERETOFORE ADOPTED AS
AI�NDED CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE.
WHEREAS, the City of Grapevine, Texas, s,cting by and under
Section 1.03, of Article; 2 of its Home Ru]:e Charter� and Articla
970a of V. A. T. S. Has datermined that its boundaries should '
be enlarged and extended by the annexation of additional
territory described as follow�, to-witx
Tract� of land in Tarrant County, Texas, described as follows:

tidHEREAS, each of the above: tracta of land are wi thin the confines
of the extraterritorial 3urisdiction of said City of Grapevine,
TexB�� and,
WHEREAS, after considering the annexation of the above described
territory, and Gity C.euncil of said C3.�y of Grapevine, Texa�
ha.s unanimously voted to annex said tract to said City of
Grapevine, Te,xas, and,
�-• WHEREAS, all legal requirements for the annexation of each sa.id
tracts, including publication and public hearing, have been
hereto fore duly, timely, and proper].y performed and done�x and,

T�THEREAS, it is for the public welfar�, and for and to t he advan-
tage, general walfare, and benefit bf the C�ity of Grapevine, Texa^
and of and for each said tract, that same.: be now annexed to t he
City of Grapevine,, Texa�:
NOW THEREF�RE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GRAPE'VINE, TEXAS:
That the tracts of land, as above described, be and the same ar�
hereby annexed to the Cit9 of Grapevine, in Tarrant County,
Texas, be and the same are hereby extended to include the above
described tract� of land wi. thin the City limits of the Gitg of
Grapevine, Texas€, a municipal. corporation, and said trac�s oi'
land, and the future inhabitants thereof shall hereafter be.
entitled to rights and privileges of other citizens of the
City of Grapevine, Texas and, they sha11 be hereafter bound by
the acta and Ordinances of said City.
That if any clause, phrase, sentence, paragraph, or section of
this ordinance shall be held void or unconstitutional for any
,� reason,, same sha.11 not effect the other parts of this ordinance.
Pasaed on First reading to the second reading by an affirmative
