GRAPEVZNE, TEXAS:
I.
That Title I, Chapter 8, Section 27 of the City Code of the
�-, ., City of Grapevine, Texas is hereby and herenow amended to read
as followsz
1-8-2?: VQTER REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE: Ail employees shall
register to vote each pear and should vate in City
elections.
II.
That 2itle I, Chapter 8, Section 31 of the City Cade af the
City af Grapeuine, Texas is hereby and herenaw amended to zead
as �ollows:
1-8-31: GROUP LIFE, HOSPITAL AND SURCICAL. TNSURANCE:
T'he City spansors a group insurance program cnnsist-
ing of a two thousand dolla,r ($2,000.00) life insurance policy
on the employee, and haspitai and surgical benefits with dzead
disease coverage fc�r the empiayee and dep�ndents he desir�s to
add.
The City pays the premium af the life insur�nce, hospital-
surgical and the dread disease coverage on the employee. The
premiums for added dependents wi11 be paid by the employee
through the payroll deduction p1an.

Stzould any part, sectic�r�, paragragh, sentence, clause or phrase
cantained in this ordina»ce be held to be uncanstitutional, such
holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining portion
of the ardinance, but in all respect shall zetnain in full force
and effect.
IV.
It being for the public welfare that this �zdinance be passed,
there exists an emergency and public necessitp that the rule
requixing this Oxdinance to be read on twa several occasions
be and the same is hereby waived and this Ordinance shall now
be placed on its second and final reading to its �passage, and
shall be in fuli farce and effect from and after its passage
and appraval.
