AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 3 , CHAPTER
5 , SECTION 2 OF THE CITY CODE OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS; AND DECLARING
AN EMERGENCY.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
I .
--- That Title 3 , Chapter 5, Section 2 of the City Code of the
City of Grapevine , Texas is herenow amended to read as follows:
3-5-2: FEES: The fees for issuance of such building per-
mits shall be computed in accordance with the
following schedule:
COST OF IMPROVEMENTS FEES
Construction cost less than $100.00 No Charge
$100.00 to and including $2,000.00 Minimum Charge of $6 .00
More than $2,000.00, to and including
$6,000.00 Minimum Charge of $12.00
More than $6,000.00, to and including
$7,000.00 Minimum Charge of $13 .00
Each additional $1 ,000.00 or fraction ,
to and including $10,000.00 At $1.50 per thousand
Each additional $1 ,000.00 or fraction,
to and including $16 ,000.00 At $1.75 per thousand
Each additional $1 ,000.00 or fraction,
to and including $25 ,000.00 At $1.00 per thousand
Each additional $1 ,000.00 or fraction,
to and including $40,000.00 At $1.50 per thousand
Each additional $1 ,000.00 or fraction,
to and including $65 ,000.00 At $2.00 per thousand
Each additional $1 ,000.00 or fraction At $0.25 per thousand
Each re-inspection fee for work not
approved Charge of $4.00

Should any part , section , paragraph, sentence , clause or
phrase contained in this ordinance be held to be unconstitu-
tional , such holding shall not affect the validity of the
. remaining portion of the ordinance , but in all respect shall
remain in full force and effect .
III.
It being for the public welfare that this Ordinance be
passed, there exists an emergency and public necessity
that the rule requiring this Ordinance to be read on two
• several occasions be and the same is hereby waived and
this Ordinance shall now be placed on its second and
final reading to its passage, and shall be in full force
