OF TAXABLE PROPERTY SITUATED T11TTHIN THE CITY
OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR
OF 1954, AND PROVIDING CERTAIN DISCOUNTS FOR
TIMELY PAYMENT OF SAID TAX AND INTEREST AND
PENALTIES FOR DELINr'ENT PAYMENT OF SAID TAX.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE:
'Section 1. That a tax of eight -tenths percent is
hereby levied on each One -Hundred ($100.00) Dollars valuation
of taxable property situated within the City of Grapevine,
Tarrant County, Texas, for the calendar year of 1951,,®
Section 2. The tax herein levied and assessed shall be
due and payable on or before October 1, 1954, subject to the
following Schedule of Discounts, Penalties and Interest pro-
visions:
(a) On all taxes paid from October 1, 1954, through
November 30, 1954, there shall be given a three
(3%) percent discount upon the total amount of
the tax due.
(b) On all taxes paid from December 1, 1954 to January
31) 1955, the amount of the tax assessed shall be
due and no discounts shall be allowed or interest
or penalties charged thereon.
(c) All taxes levied and assessed by this ordinance
which remain due and unpaid as of February 1, 1955
shall be considered delinquent, and after said date there
shall be due, in addition to the tax levied and assessed,
a penalty thereon in the amount of eight (8%) percent
of the tax due, and in addition there shall be charged
on both the amount of the tax and the penalty charged,
six (6%) percent interest per annum running from the
date said tax become delinquent and continuing until
the same are paid® At the expiration of each year,
during which any taxes levied and assessed hereunder,
remain delonquent and unpaid, all interest accrued
to date and penalties theretofore accruing shall be
added to the total amount of taxes and penalties and
interest, if any, then due, and thereafter the interest
heretofore provided for shall run on the aggregate
total of said taxes and penalties and interest.
Section 3. All monies and revenues derived from the
levying and assessment of this tax shall be paid over into the
Sinking Fund, 1954 Series, for the payment of interest and
principal of the City of Grapevine Sewer Improvement and
Extension Bonds, Series 1954.
