HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 2001-025 Duplicate for Correction ORDINANCE NO. 2001-25 �'�' " AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS RESCINDING AND CORRECTING ORDINANCE NO. 2001-25 ADOPTED APRIL 3, 2001; CORRECTING AND AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2001-25 BY PROVIDING FOR AMENDMENTS, CHANGES AND CORRECTIONS OF TYPOGRAPHICAL ERRORS TO THE GRAPEVINE CODE OF ORDINANCES CHAPTER 16, PARKS AND RECREATION, SECTION 16-32(A) RELATIVE TO GRAPEVINE MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSE FEES; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING A PENALTY OF FINE NOT TO EXCEED THE SUM OF FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($500.00) FOR EACH OFFENSE AND A SEPARATE OFFENSE SHALL BE DEEMED COMMITTED EACH DAY DURING OR ON WHICH AN OFFENSE OCCURS OR CONTINUES; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND � PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE ,_ BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS: �;:.:y Section 1. That Ordinance No. 2001-25 as adopted on April 3, 2001, by the Grapevine City Council amending the Grapevine Code of Ordinances, Chapter 16 Parks and Recreation, Section 16-32(A) relative to Grapevine Municipal Golf Course Fees is hereby rescinded and corrected by replacing and rescinding previously approved ordinance adopted on April 3, 2001 and by approval of Ordinance No. 2001-25 as corrected and amended, to replace and rescind said previously approved ordinance. Section 2. That the Grapevine Code of Ordinances Chapter 16, Parks and Recreation, Section 16-32 (A) is hereby amended as follows and all other chapters, sections, subsections, paragraphs, sentences, definitions, phrases and words of said Code of Ordinances are not amended, but shall remain intact and are hereby ratified, verified, and affirmed: "(A) Fees Established. Green fees for the Grapevine Municipal Golf Course are hereby set and established as follows: (1) Weekdays (Monday through Thursdav): .: _, (a) Regular Green Fee..................................................... $ 23.00 (b) Twilight Green Fee .................................................... $ 15.00 �i � c Senior Citizen a e 62 & above $ 13.00 . � ) ( 9 ................................ If any section, article, paragraph, sentence, clause, phrase or word in this ordinance or application thereto any person or circumstance is held invalid or unconstitutional by a Court of competent jurisdiction, such holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance; and the City Council hereby declares it would have passed such remaining portions of the ordinance despite such invalidity, which remaining portions shall remain in full force and effect. Section 4. Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in a sum not to exceed Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) and a separate offense shall be deemed committed upon each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues. Section 5. The fact that the present ordinances and regulations of the City of Grapevine, Texas are inadequate to properly safeguard the health, safety, morals, peace and general welfare of the public creates an emergency which requires that this ordinance become effective from and after the date of its passage, and it is accordingly so ordained. Section 6. The fees in this ordinance shall be approved by the U.S. Army Corps � °' of Engineers and shall become effective on May 1, 2001 or as soon thereafter as the remodeled front nine is open for play. ,�,_.
