HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 1992-005 � ORDINANCE NO. 92-05 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, ���� AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 91-59, RELATING TO THE FISCAL YEAR 1991-92 BUDGET BY AMENDING SECTION 1; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE WHEREAS, the City Council intends to reappropriate available Convention & Visitors Bureau fund balance to provide funding for the payment of emergency roof repairs of the Palace Theatre; and WHEREAS, it is necessary to appropriate $30, 000. 00 in additional funds to provide for the necessary repairs. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS: Section 1. That all of the above premises are found to be true and correct and are hereby incorporated into the body of this ordinance as if copied in their entirety herein. �� Section 2 . That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 91-59 is hereby amended to read as follows: � "Section 1. That the appropriation amounts for the FY92 budget for different funds of the City of Grapevine are hereby fixed as follows: General Fund $14 , 737, 197 Utility (Water & Wastewater District) $ 7 , 480, 095 Debt Service Fund $ 4 , 317, 922 Golf Course Fund $ 977 , 537 CVB Fund $ 2 , 047 , 187 Insurance Fund $ 873 , 711 Fireman's Relief & Retirement Fund $ 4, 000 Fleet $ 625, 526 Capital Projects Utility Fund $ 1, 871, 600 General Government Capital Projects Fund $ 8, 535, 257 Section 3 . That the City Manager be and is hereby authorized �,,,,,, to make the appropriate change to the budget to reflect the change noted above. �rrr �. .. Section 4 . A true copy of this ordinance amending the Fiscal Year 1991-92 budget shall be filed with the City Secretary and � attached to the budget originally adopted and the City Manager is hereby directed to file or cause to be filed a true copy of the amendment in the office of the County Clerks of Tarrant, Dallas and Denton counties. Section 5. The fact that the present ordinances and regulations of the City of Grapevine, Texas, are inadequate to properly safeguard the health, safety, morals, peace and general welfare of the public creates an emergency which requires that this ordinance become effective from and after the date of its passage, and it is accordingly so ordained.
