The following request was to Grapevine Code of Ordinances, Chapter 7, Article IV: Section 7 -125, Fences, Rear Yard Requirements, prohibits a fence from exceeding eight - feet (8') in height in any rear yard. Section 7 -126, Fences, Side Yard Requirements, prohibits a fence from exceeding eight - feet (8') Fax (817) in height in any side yard. Section 7 -129, Fences, Type of Construction prohibits fences in any platted subdivision from being electrically charged in any manner or form, including but not limited to those electrically charged by battery. The Board denied the request to allow a ten -foot (10') electrically charged fence along the rear and side property lines. A copy of the minutes will be available after they have been approved at the next regular Building Board of Appeals meeting.
