Due to its age and size, the current facility is no longer adequate for the daily operations of Grapevine Golf Course employees and patrons. The constraints of the topography, trees, and vegetation at site of the existing facility prohibit its expansion and modification to comply with the current accessibility and fire codes. The City would like to construct a new facility on the property as described in the attached documents. Daily golf operations as well as food and beverage sales would be transferred to the new building upon completion. The new proposed location will allow the building to meet all current code requirements and operational requirements while mitigating the impact to the site's environment and historical conditions. The enlarged dining space will have the added benefit of providing additional areas for golf tournaments and private event functions as well as increased use of the facility by Grapevine Lake visitors. Grapevine Golf is fully aware of and intends to comply with Grapevine Code of Ordinances Sec. 42.B which requires gross sales from food on an annual basis represent at least 50 percent of its total sales. Thank you for your assistance in the matter. 1700 TENNISON PARKWAY, STE 100 COLLEYVILLE, TEXAS 76034 P817.581.3838 ORDINANCE NO. 2020-030 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE ISSUING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT CU20- 05 TO ALLOW FOR THE POSSESSION, STORAGE, RETAIL SALE AND ON -PREMISE CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES (BEER, WINE AND MIXED BEVERAGES), OUTSIDE DINING AND OUTDOOR SPEAKERS IN CONJUNCTION WITH A GOLF COURSE CLUBHOUSE FOR TRACTS 1, 1A, 3, 4, 4A, 4A1, AND 4B OF THE STEPHENS BURNLEY SURVEY, A-179 (3800 FAIRWAY DRIVE) IN A DISTRICT ZONED "GU" GOVERNMENTAL USE DISTRICT REGULATIONS ALL IN ACCORDANCE WITH A SITE PLAN APPROVED PURSUANT TO SECTION 47 OF ORDINANCE NO. 82-73 AND ALL OTHER CONDITIONS, RESTRICTIONS AND SAFEGUARDS IMPOSED HEREIN;
