= A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, MAKING FINDINGS OF CERTAIN
FACTS RELATIVE TO THE PURCHASE OF A CONTRACT
AND PURCHASE REQUISITION SYSTEM; DETERMINING
THAT THE ITEMS ARE AVAILABLE FROM ONLY ONE
SOURCE AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE SAID CONTRACTS AND DOCUMENTS AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, STW, Inc. is the sole provider of a Purchase Contract and Requisition
System that is compatible with the current Finance system; and
WHEREAS, the City Staff has been unable to locate anyone except STW, Inc. who
produces a Purchase Contract and Requisition System that is compatible with the current
Finance system.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1. That all of the above premises are found to be true and correct and are
�y-� incorporated into the body of this resolution as if copied in their entirety.
Section 2. That the City Council of the City of Grapevine authorizes the purchase,
installation and operational training for the Purchase Contract and Requisition System for
a total not to exceed $20,000.
Section 3. That the City Manager, or his designee, is authorized to take all steps
necessary to consummate the purchase of the authorized equipment, installation and
training services provided in Section 2.
Section 4. That this resolution shall take effect from and after the date of its
passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 5th day of May , 1998.
