`` " A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS SUPPORTING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF
A FOREIGN TRADE ZONE FOR THE HERITAGE
BUSINESS PARK; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE
WHEREAS, the City of Grapevine is committed to the promotion of high quality
development in the City and to an ongoing improvement in the quality of life for its
citizens; and
WHEREAS, these objectives are generally served by the enhancement and
expansion of the local economy; and
WHEREAS, a Foreign Trade Zone is one of the principal means by which the
public sector and the private sector can forge a partnership to promote real economic
growth within a community.
- NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1. That all matters stated in the preamble are true and correct and are
incorporated herein as if copied in their entirety.
Section 2. That the City of Grapevine supports the designation of the Heritage
Business Park as a Foreign Trade Zone.
Section 3. That this resolution shall take effect from and after the date of its
passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the �$th day of August , 1998.
