A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS DECLARING CERTAIN PROPERTY
SURPLUS AND/OR SALVAGE; PROVIDING FOR THE
DONATION OF SAID PROPERTY TO VARIOUS
VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENTS; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the City of Grapevine is in possession of
surplus and/or salvage property; and
WHEREAS, the City of Grapevine has numerous items of self contained breathing
apparatus remaining from the citywide upgrade that has no further value to the City of
Grapevine; and
WHEREAS, these items would be of use to various Volunteer Fire Departments.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
n-. � Section 1. That all matters stated in the preamble are true and correct and are
incorporated herein as if copied in their entirety.
Section 2. The 31 MSA Self Contained Breathing Apparatus are declared surplus
and are donated to the Volunteer Fire Departments of Boonsville, Cool-Garner, Cooper
and Dido.
Section 3. That the Grapevine Purchasing Department is authorized to make
these items available to the Volunteer Fire Departments.
Section 4. That this resolution shall take effect from and after the date of its
passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 1 st day of September , 1998.
