"� "� A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS AUTHORIZING PARTICIPATION IN
THE PURCHASING PROGRAMS OF THE STATE
PURCHASING AND GENERAL SERVICES COMMISSION
FOR CERTAIN ITEMS; AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE SAID CONTRACTS AND
DOCUMENTS AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City of Grapevine, Texas, pursuant to the authority granted by
Article 664-7. V.T.C.S., as amended, desires to participate in described purchasing
programs of the State Purchasing and General Services Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City of Grapevine, Texas, is of the opinion that participation in
these programs will be highly beneficial to the taxpayers of this City through the
anticipated savings to be realized.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1. That all of the above premises are found to be true and correct and
� - are incorporated into the body of this resolution as if copied in their entirety.
Section 2. That the City of Grapevine, Texas, does request the State
Purchasing and General Services Commission to include its stated need for:
Cisco router hardware, equipment, and installation: $ 5,823.00
T-1 router installation: $ 2,850.00
Annual Internet access: $13,020.00
Section 3. That this resolution shall take effect from and after the date of its
passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 1st day of December, 1998.
