A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS AMENDING RESOLUTION 95-25
RELATIVE TO MINIMUM WAGE RATES FOR BUILDING
CONSTRUCTION AND FACILITY IMPROVEMENT
PROJECTS WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS; PROVIDING A
SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Grapevine, Texas on August 1, 1995
approved Resolution No. 95-25 adopting wage rates for street, drainage and utility
construction projects within the corporate limits of the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend said resolution in order to update
the prevailing wage rate.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1. That Resolution No. 95-25, adopted on August 1, 1995 is hereby
��°'°' amended relative to wage rates for building construction and facility improvement projects
as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein for all purposes.
Section 2. That from and after the date of passage of this resolution, the
"Prevailing Wage Rate for Building Construction and Facility Improvement Projects,
General Decision No. TX 990061," dated March 12, 1999, attached hereto as Exhibit "A"
shall be utilized.
Section 3. That afl matters stated in the preamble are true and correct and are
incorporated herein as if copied in their entirety.
Section 4. That this resolution shall take effect from and after the date of its
passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 6th of April, 1999.

These minimum Prevailing Wage Rates for Building Construction Projects have been issued by the
U.S. Department of Labor, Wage and Hour Division for Tarrant County under General Decision Number
TX990061. A separate wage rate is established for"Heavy Construction" and "Highway Construction".
WELDERS - Rate prescribed for craft performing operation to which welding is incidental.
FRINGES* - In addition to hourly rate, must be paid in cash or into approved third party Department of
Labor benefit plan. If any of the above mentioned rates conflict with General Decision TX990061, DOL
General Decision Rates shall apply. Unlisted classifications needed for work not included within the
scope of the classifications listed may be added afterwards as provided in the labor standards contract
clauses (29 CFR 5.5 (a) (1)(ii)).
Wagerate
