A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE
2014 CITY OFFICER RUNOFF ELECTION AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, there came to be considered the returns of a runoff election held on the
21st day of June, 2014 for the purpose of electing the hereinafter named official, and it
appearing from said returns, duly and legally made, that there were cast at said election
1,649 valid and legal votes; and
WHEREAS, each of the candidates in said election received the following votes:

Undervotes....................................... ..............................4
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1. That said runoff election was duly called; that notice of said election
was given in accordance with law; and that said election was held in accordance with law;
and that the following named person was duly elected to the office indicated:
Council, Place 6 Duff O'Dell
Section 2. That the said above person is hereby declared duly elected to said
respective office, subject to the taking of the oath and filing bond as provided by the laws of
this State and the ordinances of this City.
Section 3. That this resolution shall become effective from and after the date of
its passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 1st day of July, 2014.
