RESOLUTION NO. 99-24
py A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS; DESCRIBING THE LOCATION OF
AN UNNAMED CITY TRAIL; DETERMINING A NAME FOR
SAID TRAIL AS THE C. SHANE WILBANKS TRAIL AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, there came to be considered the name for a certain trail located on
the southern shores of Lake Grapevine within the City of Grapevine, Texas; and
WHEREAS, the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board determined at their April 15,
1999 meeting that there was a need to name said trail as the C. Shane Wilbanks Trail.
NOW, THERFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1. That all matters stated in the preamble of this resolution are true
and correct and are hereby incorporated into the body of this resolution as if copied in
their entirety.
Section 2. That the unnamed City trail is located on the southern shores of
Lake Grapevine and begins at the Oak Grove Soccer Complex and continues along
• - Lake Grapevine for approximately three miles to the intersection of Snakey Lane and
Kimball Road.
Section 3. That the certain unnamed trail within the City of Grapevine, Texas
be hereinafter named the C. Shane Wilbanks Trail.
Section 4. That this resolution shall be effective from and after the date of its
passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 4th day of May, 1999.
