A RESOCUTIC}N OF THE CITY C4UNC1� OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS MAKING FINDINGS OF CERTAIN
FACTS RELATIVE TO TNE PURCHASE QF
DEFIBRILLATOR/MONITORS; DETERMINING THAT THE
DEFIBRI�LAT4R/MONITaRS ARE (�NLY ABAILABLE
FROM ONE S(JURGE; AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE SAID CONTRACTS AND
DOCUMENTS AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City of Grapevine staff has reviewed and analyzed the
City's need far the purchase of the follawing equipment:
One each Lifepak 12 defibrillator/monitar with AED, pacing, SP02
monitoring, 12 lead, and fax NIBP,
One each Lifepak 12 defibrilla#or/monitar with AED and pacing,
and;
WHEREAS, Medtronic/Physio Control is the sole vendor who provides all
of the required aptians in the equipment listed above.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE 1T RESC}LVED BY THE CITY C4UNCIL t�F
THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1. That all matters stated in the preamble are true and correct
as if capied herein in their entirety.
Sectian 2. That the City of Grapevine, Texas autharizes the purchase
of this equipment in the total amaunt af$ 27,315.50.
Sectian 3. That the City Manager, or his designee, is authorized to take
all steps necessary to consummate the purchase of said equipment.
5ection 4. That this resolutian shall take effect from and after the date
of its passage.
