'�,,, A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 79-35
ADOPTED ON OCTOBER 16, 1979, AS AMENDED,
RELATING TO THE GRAPEVINE GOLF COURSE
ADVISORY BOARD; ALTERING THE MEMBERSHIP OF
SAID BOARD BY AMENDING SECTION 3, PARAGRAPHS
A AND B; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City of Grapevine established the Grapevine Golf Course Advisory
Board on October 16, 1979, by the adoption of Resolution No. 79-35; and
WHEREAS, the City Council expanded the membership of said Board on November
4, 1986 by the adoption of Resolution No. 86-43, and on September 3, 1991 by the
adoption of Resolution No. 91-29; on April 19, 1994 by the adoption of Resolution No. 94-
16; and on June 17, 1994 by adoption of Resolution 94-31; and
WHEREAS, the Grapevine City Council wishes to alter the membership of said
�a��► Board to increase membership from seven to eight citizen members.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the above and foregoing preamble is true and correct and is
incorporated into this resolution as if copied herein in its entirety. �

Section 2. That Section 3, Paragraph A of Resolution No. 79�approved and
adopted by the City Council on October 16, 1979, as amended by Resolution No. 86-43,
Resolution No. 91-29, Resolution No. 94-16 and Resolution No. 94-31, is hereby amended
to read as follows:
"The Board shall consist of twelve members, composed of the City Manager or his
designee, the Golf Director, one member of the City Council, eight citizens of the
City of Grapevine who are members of the Grapevine Golf Association, the
Grapevine Ladies Golf Association or who are active golfers at the Grapevine
Municipal Golf Course, and one representative selected by Dolce, Inc., (DFW Lakes
� � Hilton, or its successors). The City Council Member shall be appointed each year
x by the Mayor, with the eight citizen members being appointed by the City Council.
� The Golf Associations may submit recommendations to the City Council for
appointment. Dolce, Inc., or its successors, shall submit recommendations for
appointment to the Board."

Section 3. That Section 3, Paragraph B(2)(a) of Resolution No. 79-35, appraved
4�, and adopted by the Gity Council on C7ctober 16, 1979, as amended by Resalution No. 96-
43, Resolution No. 91-29, Resolution No. 94-16, and Resolution No. 94-31 is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"(2)(a) Each of the eight citizen members shall occupy a Place an the Goif
Gourse Advisory Board, such Piaces being numbered 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6,
7 and 8, and the representative from Dolce, Inc., or its successors,
shaEi accupy a Piace on the Ga1f Course Advisary Board, such Place
being numbered 9."
Section 4. That Section 3, Paragraph B(2)(d) is hereby amended to read as follows:
"(2)(d) Upon appraval and adoption of this resolutian, Place 8 shall be
appainted to serue far a period of�inra years."
Section 5. That this Resolution shall be in full farce and effect from and after its date
af its passage.
