��� A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS ADOPTING AN OFFICIAL LOGO FOR
THE CITY AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, in Fall of 1996 a new city logo was designed by City staff to more
readily reflect the current emphasis on economic development and City history; and
WHEREAS, this logo, depicted on Exhibit "A" continues to reflect the spirit of
the City of Grapevine and City Council desires to formally adopt, by the passage of
this resolution, this logo as the official logo of the City of Grapevine.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1 . All matters stated in the preamble to this resolution are true and

corrected and are incorporated herein as if copied in their entirety.
Section 2. That the logo depicted on Exhibit "A", attached hereto and
+� incorporated herein, is hereby adopted as and declared to be the official logo of the
City of Grapevine, Texas.
Section 3. That this resolution shall take effect from and after the date of its
passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 15th day of July , 1997.
