A RES4LUTION OF THE CITY GOUNCIL OF TNE GITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS AUTHORIZING PARTiCIPATION IN
THE PURCHA5ING PR(�GRAMS OF THE STATE
PURCHASING AND GENERAL SERVICES COMMISSION
F4R PURCHASE OF �RPTC?P COMPUTERS,ASSOCIATED
MOUNTS AND GABLES, AND PURCHASE OF SOFTWARE
FC►R MQBI�E QATA TERIVIiNALS; AUTHORIZlNG THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE SAID CONTRACTS AND
Dt"�CUMENTS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City of Grapevine, Texas, pursuant to the autharity granted by
Article �64-7, V.T.C.S., as amended, desires to participate in described purchasing
programs of the State Purchasing and General Services Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City of Grapevine, Texas, is of the opinian that participation in these
pragrams will be highly beneficial ta #he taxpayers of this City thraugh the anticipated
� - savings to be realized.

NQW, THEREFORE, BE IT RES4LVED BY THE C1TY COUNCI� OF THE CITY
QF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1. That all matters stated in the above preamble are true and correct and
are incorporated herein as if copied in their entirety.
Section 2. That the Gity of Grapevine, Texas, daes request the State Purchasing
and General Services Commission to include its stated need for:

Nine (9) Mobile Data Terminals and associated mounts,
cables, etc. from Palo Pinto Safl:ware, lnc.
"Necessary" Software ar�d associated equipment �far Mobile
Data Terminals) from Cerulean Technology, Inc.

on the Commission's annual contracts for these items, whereby the City of Grapevine may
be a}iowed to purchase these items from the annual contract.

Section 3. That the City Manager, or his designee, is authorized and directed to
sign and deliver all necessary requests and other documents in connection therewith for
and on behalf of the City of Grapevine.

Section 4. That this resolution shall take effect from and after the date of its
passage.
