RESOLUTION NO. 9s-�2
�, A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO ENTER INTO AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT WITH THE
STATE OF TEXAS TO PARTICIPATE IN THE STATE OF
TEXAS PURCHASING CARD PROGRAM AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE SAID
AGREEMENT AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Grapevine, Texas, pursuant to the authority granted by
Article 664-7, V.T.C.S., as amended, desires to participate in the described purchasing
programs of the State Purchasing and General Services Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City of Grapevine, Texas, is of the opinion that participation in this
program will be beneficial to the taxpayers of this City through the anticipated increased
ability to track purchases and a more efficient payment process which will result in
processing cost savings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the City of Grapevine, Texas, does request the State Purchasing
� � and General Services Commission to include its stated need for participation in the State
of Texas annual contract with Bank of America for procurement card services, whereby the
City of Grapevine may be allowed to purchase items from the annual contract; that the City
Manager is authorized and directed to sign and deliver all necessary requests and other
documents in connection therewith for and on behalf of the City of Grapevine.
Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after the date of its
passage.

GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 3rd day of March , 1998.
