RESOLUTION NO. 96-56
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
� _ GRAPEVINE, TEXAS AUTHORIZING THE ADOPTION OF
THE PREFERRED ALIGNMENT OF WESTPORT PARKWAY
AS AN ELEMENT OF THE MASTER THOROUGHFARE
PLAN; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the Master Thoroughfare Plan conceptually identifies an East-West
Type "E" Collector 4-lane undivided roadway in the area North of State Highway 360
and East of State Highway 121 ; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of Grapevine for the finalized
alignment of the aforementioned roadway, hereinafter referred to as Westport
Parkway, to be mutually acceptable and beneficial to all affected property owners; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has met with the affected property
owners to determine the preferred alignment and all affected property owners are in
agreement with this alignment; and
"'"�' WHEREAS, the preferred finalized alignment is conceptually consistent with the
Master Thoroughfare Plan.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1 . That all matters stated in the preamble are true and correct and are
incorporated herein as if copied in their entirety.
Section 2. That the City Council hereby authorizes the adoption of the mutually
acceptable preferred alignment of Westport Parkway as shown on Exhibit "A",
attached hereto and made a part hereof.
Section 3. That this resolution shall become effective from and after the date
of its passage.
