,,,� A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS AUTHORIZING PARTICIPATION IN
THE PURCHASING PROGRAMS OF THE STATE
PURCHASING AND GENERAL SERVICES COMMISSION
FOR CERTAIN ITEMS; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO EXECUTE SAID CONTRACTS AND DOCUMENTS; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City of Grapevine, Texas, pursuant to the authority granted by
Sections 271 .081 - 271 .083 Texas Local Government Code, V.T.C.A., as amended,
desires to participate in described purchasing programs of the State Purchasing and
General Services Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City of Grapevine, Texas, is of the opinion that participation in
these programs will be highly beneficial to the taxpayers of this City through the
anticipated savings to be realized.
'°� NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:

Section 1 . That all matters stated in the above preamble are true and correct
and are incorporated herein as if copied in their entirety.
Section 2. That the City of Grapevine, Texas, does request the State
Purchasing and General Services Commission to include its stated need for:

30 850 MEG Maxtor Hard Drive
28 8 MEG 72 Pin SIMM Module
58 1 MEG 30 Pin SIMM Module
30 486 DX 100 MHZ CPU, Mother-
board & CPU Fan
Section 3. That this resolution shall take effect from and after the date of its
passage.
