A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS DESIGNATING A CHAIRMAN OF
THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF TAX INCREMENT
FINANCING REINVESTMENT ZONE NUMBER ONE, AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Grapevine, Texas, after public
hearing, created Tax Increment Financing Reinvestment Zone Number One, City of
Grapevine, Texas, at its regular meeting on Tuesday, February 20, 1996; and
WHEREAS, a Board of Directors was established by City of Grapevine
Ordinance No. 96-07, adopted February 20, 1996, to administer the Zone; and
WHEREAS, the City of Grapevine has appointed five members to the Board;
and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 96-07 calls for the City Council to designate a
member of the Board of Directors to serve as the chairman.
f - NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1 . That all matters stated in the preamble of this resolution are true
and correct and are hereby incorporated into the body of this resolution as if
copied in their entirety.
Section 2. That the City of Grapevine hereby appoints William D. Tate
as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tax Increment Financing District
Reinvestment Zone Number One, City of Grapevine, Texas.
Section 3. That the City of Grapevine authorizes and directs that this action
be made a part of the City's permanent records.
Section 4. That this resolution shall become effective from and after the
date of its passage.
