RESOLUTION NO. 95-�7
�;_� A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS REQUESTING PARAGON CABLE TO
PROVIDE CUSTOMER COUNTS FOR ALL A-LA-CARTE
SERVICES AND ALL PAY-PER-VIEW SERVICES FOR 1994
AND ALL SUBSEQUENT YEARS, REQUESTING PARAGON
CABLE TO RECONFIGURE ITS TIERS TO ALLOW VIEWING
OF ALL BASIC AND STANDARD SERVICES WITHOUT
CABLE CONVERTOR BOXES ON CABLE READY SETS,
REQUESTING PARAGON CABLE TO AMEND ITS LATE FEE
POLICY FROM TEN DAYS AFTER DUE DATE TO TEN
DAYS AFTER END OF MONTHLY SERVICE; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, Paragon Cable failed to include all customer counts in its Annual
Report; and
WHEREAS, Paragon Cable recently reconfigured its tiers resulting in the loss of

certain channels on cable ready sets; and
WHEREAS, Paragon Cable charges a late fee prior to the end of services; and

WHEREAS, the City of Grapevine continues to receive service complaints about
cable service including programming and channel selections.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1 . That the City of Grapevine requests Paragon Cable to provide
customer counts for all services including a-la-carte and pay-per-view services for
1994 and all subsequent years.
Section 2. That the City of Grapevine requests Paragon Cable to reconfigure its
tiers to allow all basic and standard services to be viewed without the use of a cable
converter box on cable ready sets.
Section 3. That the City of Grapevine requests Paragon Cable to amend its late
�,.� fee policy from ten days after due date to ten days after end of monthly service.
Section 4. That this resolution shall take effect from and after the date of its
�� passage.
