HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 1994-023 � RESOLUTION NO. 94-23 �, A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, AMENDING RESOLUTION N0. 94-08 WHICH ESTABLISHED A NORTHWEST HIGHWAY COMMUNICATION COMMITTEE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE WHEREAS, the Mayor and the City Council of the City of Grapevine are deeply concerned about the well being of the business interests in the Northwest Highway Corridor; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Grapevine feels that it is a matter of public necessity that the business owners and property owners in the Northwest Highway corridor are informed of impending issues relating to the Northwest Highway Widening Project; and WHEREAS, the City Council feels that there is a need to increase the membership of the Northwest Highway Communications Committee from 15 to 20 members to assist the City staff and consultants in facilitating two-way '" ` communication between themselves and the property owners and business owners in the Northwest Highway corridor. �>..„� NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS: Section 1 . That Section 1 of Resolution No. 94-08 is hereby amended to read as follows: That the Northwest Highway Communication Committee is hereby created, the composition of said committee shall consist of twenty (20) members who are business and property owners in the Northwest Highway corridor and may or may not be presently serving on a City board or committee. Section 2.
